I had not asked myself that question, but I have been working on an answer. J Like profound truths one comes to in life which seem simple, Robin,’s ^genius is self-evident; however, it is ■not one thing but a complex of tendencies and characteristics. A primary 'feature, of course, is her mastery of painting and drawing techniques.
‘The show’s 25 paintings and drawings include work that dates back •10 years and extends into 1996. While the pictures are primarily of people, •mostly likenesses of individuals and $ome invented characters, there are in addition three Virginia mountain landscapes that glow with life.
