27 (1997). Duo-pianists, Markham and Broadway will kick off the season with a mostly classical repertoire. Next, twelve dancers and musicians called “Rhythm in Shoes” will do step dances, clogging, jazz and tap. then tljf Black Mountain Male Choir of . Wales,^40 strong, will sing folk, classical,^hymns and popular songs. Finally, the local Windmore Foundation will stage the musical “Bamum” with a stellar cast of professional and very talented amateurs.
Manassas and Fairfax performances are scheduled between Sept. 15 and April 27. They will include “Ropin’ the West”; Scottish troubadour Carl Peterson; Vieijna Brassissimo; Gabriela Imreh, a Romanian classical pianist; the Red Star Red Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble; mezzo-soprano Brenda Boozer; the Hungarian Festival Virtuosi; and the Nevada Dance Theatre. Reciprocal seating is based on availability at ten minutes before curtain.
