ENSAT will prepare a report detailing the results and including recommendations for further study. The report will include a map and aerial photographs of the area including key wells, fracture areas and groundwater recharge and discharge zones.
Several years ago Robert Dennis, who was at the time the president of the Piedmont Environmental Council, recommended that the county do a study of its groundwater resources. He said he believed the county’s development potential, like most of the Piedmont, is limited by scarce underground water resources.
