Commission is dedicated to improving the quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation. The Joint Commission’s on-site survey of Warren Memorial Hospital occurred in October 1995.
The hospital’s Home Health Care Department received accreditation after the Joint Commission found that it had demonstrated compliance with the JCAHO national standards for home care organizations. The department “was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of home care services,” said Maryanne Popovich, R.N., M.P.H., director, Home care Accreditation, Joint Commission.
