Paul Reisler and Martha Sandefer from the highly acclaimed group, Trapezoid, will be performing at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th, at the Taylor. Middle School Auditorium in Warrenton.
The concert is a benefit for Fauquier Habitat for Humanity’s 1996 home building efforts.
As a duo, Paul and Martha focus on their original songs blended together with Paul’s original guitar and hammered dulcimer instrumental compositions. The duo’s emphasis on story and song is firmly rooted in the long innovative tradition of Trapezoid. And Trapezoid has a long 20 year history of innovation. Sing Out Magazine recently called Trapezoid “one of America’s most creative ensembles.”
In addition to writing all of the music the duo performs, Mr. Reisler plays the guitar, hammered dulcimer, bass and doumbec.
