Scott Updike, a member of the Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club, was one of the four teen 4-H members on the state 4-H Livestock Judging Team that participated in the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest this past Nov. 14 at the North American Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky. The other three team members were Ashley Craun, Michael Kibler and David Mullins.

The Virginia team placed 13th out of 35 teams. The Virginia team placed Second in beef. Individually, Scott placed second in the Beef class and Second in Beef Cattle Performance.
