Aerobic Classes To Begin
A new aerobic class session will begin April 1. Classes includes 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic workout, free weights, floor work and stretching. For more information call Beth Levick, 675-3108.
Education Support Group To Meet
The April meeting of the First Thursday Education Support group has been scheduled fro 7 p.m. on April 4 at the County Extension Office. The School Budget Process will be the focus of the meeting and speaker Ron Makela, Jackson District representative on the School Board, will give us an update on the budget process.
Bake Sale To Benefit League
An Easter bake sale to benefit Piedmont Feline Rescue League will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, April 6 at the Rappahannock Farmers Co-op. “Enjoy delicious home baked goods and support a good cause,” said an organizer.
Spring Event Scheduled
The Washington Baptist Church Spring Event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Events will include a silent auction plant sale, bake goods. Grandma’s Attic, and lots of good food and drinks.
Miss Rappahannock Pageant Set
Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual Miss Rappahannock pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Rappahannock Elementary School.
Rehearsal for the pageant is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16. Female residents of Rappahannock County between the ages of 2-19 are eligible to participate in the pageant. Male residents of Rappahannock between the ages of 2-6 are eligible to participate.
