John Woodard
John Robert (Billy) Woodard, 64, of Culpeper, died on Sunday, March 17 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Culpeper County, he was the son of the late Hezekiah R. and Mary Smith Woodard.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a lineman for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
He is survived by two sons, John Hamilton Woodard of Winchester and Dr. Brooks Woodard of Baltimore, Md. and a daughter, Bonnie Holt of Richmond.
He is also survived by a sister, Margaret W. Dale of Charlotte, N.C. and two grandchildren.'
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers..
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 22 at Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. William Smith officiating.
Interment was held at Culpeper , National Cemetery.
Frank O'Neil
Frank J. O’Neil, 82, of Chairton, Pa., brother of Edna O’Neil Perry of Washington died on Sunday, March! 17 in Chairton Hospital.
He retired in 1976 after 35 years of service as a craneman for Mesta Machine Company, West Homestead, Pa.
Born in West Mifflin, Pa. on March 7, 1914, he was the son of the late Frank H. and Mary Woodlock O’Neil.
Besides his sister, Edna, he is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two sons and one daughter.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 20 at Richland Cemetery in Dravosburg, Pa. with the Rev. Frank A. Rocco officiating.
