Looking at the dumpsite from the road one day last week, a neighbor said that “there is a whole bathroom in there,” meaning a toilet, bathtub and sink. In the last few weeks, said the neighbor, they have noticed more and more things being added to the site.
This neighbor is also afraid that something in the dump may be polluting the stream. They are concerned that the dumpsite may become bigger and bigger. “Somebody needs to clean it up,” said the neighbor.
.The county is currently involved in another case of illegal dumping with the Arthur H. Kitchen property off Route 642 in Amissville. Mr. Kitchen was arrested and released
