To the Editor:
The members of the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who attended the Valentine's Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 15. This made our fund raiser a great success!
A special thanks to Pat Jenkins, Shirley Frye and Juanita Atkins for preparing a fantastic meal which was enjoyed by all. Also a sincere appreciation to Wanda Jenkins and Tammy Atkins who assisted in preparing for this special occasion. These wonderful individuals were the backbone of this fund raiser.
We would also like to thank those individuals who contributed baked goods and other necessities which helped make our first fund raising dinner a success.
The final event of the evening ended with a raffle. The contributors to the raffle were B & R Antiques of Luray, Sheppard's Lawn Service, Rosebud Cottage and Chestnut Run, all of Sperryville.
Again we thank you for helping us to help our community.
