My legislation which called for party registration in primaries; banned the medical use of marijuana; eliminated one-gun-a-month restrictions; memorialized the Congress to effect laws requiring that our brave men and women in the armed forces serve only under U.S. command and the American flag; and called on the Congress to respect our Fifth Amendment property rights were defeated on partisan lines.
As always, a complete record of all the bills I put forward, successes and losses, and my full voting record will be available in our local libraries upon its preparation by Legislative Services. I also look forward to discussing them at the Chamber of Commerce Legislative Update breakfast March 12.
