PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Board (RRCSB) - RAPIDTRAN. Culpeper, Virginia is applying for capital and operating funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia through the FTA Section 5311 Program for the purpose of increasing the availability of public transportation services for residents of Planning District 9. Application also is being made for capital funds through the Section 5310 Program for the purpose of increasing the mobility of senior citizens and persons with disabilities to access training opportunities and community resources.
A Public Hearing will be held on March 25, 1997 at 10:00 A M. A copy of the Applications are available for public inspection at the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center, 401 S. Main St. Culpeper, VA., 22701.
Persons with disabilities and their advocates are urged to participate. Individuals with disabilities, who require assistance to attend, should contact Carolyn R. Nichols, Transit Coordinator,

Those who are unable to attend, but who would like to offer comments, may do so in writing. Comments received after Close of Business, March 25, 1997, will not be considered.
Comments made at the Public Hearing will be submitted to the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transit with the Grant Applications.
