Services Board To Meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Culpeper. Afternoon Hymn Service Slated
An afternoon of hymn singing will be held at Thornton’s Gap Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday, March 15 beginning at 3 p.m. ‘ Several visiting Elders are expected and we hope to hear from them also,” said a spokesperson. Refreshments will be provided. Everyone is cordially invited to join in “making a joyful noise” unto the Lord.
Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop
Virginia Cooperative Extension will conduct a free fruit tree pruning workshop for homeowners on Wednesday, March 12 at Williams Orchard in Flint Hill. The workshop will start at 9 a.m. and concentrate on apple and peach trees. Williams Orchard is located on Route 729, off U.S. 211, between Ben Venue and Flint Hill. Interested persons should call the Rappahannock Extension Office at 675-3619 to register.
