Amissville Baptist Church will host a Spring revival to give its congregation an opportunity to meet the Pastor Search Committee’s candidate for pastor, Rev. H. Vernon DeLong.
Rev. DeLong will hold a pre-meeting prayer time at 6:30 p.m. and revival service at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15. He will again speak at the morning worship beginning at 11 a.m. Following the morning worship, the congregation will be able to have a question and answer period with Rev. DeLong during the covered dish supper to be held in the Fellowship Hall. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish and a liter drink to share. Chicken will be provided by the church.
Sunday, March 23, a congrega- - tional vote will be held after the morning worship to determine Rev. DeLong’s selection as new pastor.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Monroe and Miller families who lost loved ones in the accident on Route 28 Wednesday, Feb. 26. Paul Monroe II and Marion Miller will be greatly missed by their family and friends.
