The adult education classes offered by the Rappahannock County Public School system have proven to be very popular.
About 100 people signed up for eight 8-week classes and five 3-week workshops which began last month. Adult Education Coordinator, Jeanie Dwyer, said that the number of people in each class ranges from two to 35 (the line (fcmcing class taught by George Colvin).
The second biggest class is the Computer Basics class taught by Holly Pendleton, with 20 students. Ms. Dwyer said that more people wanted to take the class but 20 was the maximum allowed for the class. Not to worry, though, as the class will most likely be offered in the next session.
