The board approved the motion and the committee will make a new report on the progress of its evaluation at the March meeting of the board.
In a related issue, Mrs. Anderson said she had met with Terry Waggener about getting the rock work on the road entrance done. Mr. Waggener has offered to volunteer time to do the stonework. He will begin in late Spring or during the summer, Mrs. Anderson said. However, she said, he had planned to start after the culvert work was done. It was decided that the Building and Grounds Committee needs to resolve the issue of the paving so that all projects can move forward.
In other library business: The agenda was approved and the librarian’s report made.
Library Director David Shaffer said he has delivered the proposed FY97-98 budget to County Administrator JohnMcCarthy. He has also been updating the library’s state and local government' resources and ordered the Virginia Review Directory of State and Local Government Officials and a 24 volume' Administrative Code of Vnginia. He has' also subscribed to the Virginia Review. •
