Primary June 12
' Democrats will go to the polls on Tuesday, June 12 to elect the Democratic nominees for Lieutenant Governor and for Attorney General. Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. This election is open to all registered voters, and the polling places are the same as for the November elections.

Carnival comes
to Flint Hill
The Flint Hill Fire and Rescue Company’s annual fireman’s carnival will be held June 13-16. Virginia Premier Events will provide the rides. Anyone interested in helping with the carnival may call the firehouse, 675-3286.

board to meet
The June board of directors meeting for Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, will take place Monday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. The meeting is open to the public.
