The score was 4-0 at the top of the third and the Panthers had finished all of their scoring for the game.
On the mound Sharp did not give up a hit until the bottom of the fifth with two outs. The blooper dropped in front of second but the runner was left stranded. The Raiders never had another runner until the bottom of the seventh, with one out. A pop fly to left, lost in the sun by a Panther outfielder, dropped in for a double. But, the runner was again left stranded as Sharp put away the last tow batters with strikeouts.
The Lady Panthers collected five hits for the afternoon: a double by Johnson, singles by Cook and Sharp, and a single and a double by Dana Caldwell. Defensively, Molly Burke had 11 put-outs at first with 2 being unassisted. Ashleigh Burke had an assist from second and Brittany Thornhill caught a pop fly at second. Jamie Deal had three assists at shortstop. Danielle Hiserman caught a slap hit in the infield. Sharp had three assists and snagged a high one from the mound. Caldwell had two assists from third.
