Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Ivy Plantt, who passed away at Walter Reed Hospital. Before her retirement, she was employed with American Security Council, here in Boston.
We’d like to congratulate Spencer Hansen, a senior at Culpeper High School, who won the Virginia School Board Associations Art Contest.
A number of our area residents attended the banquet at Amissville Church Friday, May 25 and their picnic held at Mt. Run Lake on Memorial Day.
In the Culpeper County Firemen’s Parade on Thursday, May 25 the Salem Fire and Rescue was judged, “Best Appearing Culpeper County EMS”.
Two nurses, Deena Lohmann and Doreen Jenkins, who have worked with Hospice of Rapidan since 1998, have successfully completed their “Certified Hospice and Pallative Nurse” certification. The Hospice serves our own Rappahannock County, as well as Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange and Madison.
