Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Peyton of Clover Acres were Memorial Day guests of Mrs. Alvin Atkins on Acronbrook Lane in Sperryville.
Quite a number of our area folk attended Memorial Day services at Culpeper National Cemetery.

With schools nearing completion for the year and summer coming, Vacation Bible Schools are being planned. Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Scrabble Road have planned bible school for June 25 through June 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day and a special invitation is being extended to all area children. Parents please bring or send your children to vacation bible school.
