• Congratulations to RCMS Seventh Grader Caite Waites on her soccer team’s recent major victory. Caite’s team, the Washington Area Vista Vipers, have the distinction of being the State Cup Soccer Champions! We have watchfed Caite grow in the game of soccer, honing her skills at every level, and we applaud her accomplishments!
• The past two weeks emotionally have been much like a ride on the Rebel Yell Rollercoaster for most of us in the school system. The last lew weeks of school traditionally are jam packed with exciting end of year activities. This year was the same only magnified.
• Last week we celebrated the victories of our high achool and middle school spring athletes at the Athletic Banquet at RCES. It was a* joyful evening for everyone. Special thanks to volunteers iMs. Cindy Thornhill, Mrs. Cathy Kreyling and Mrs. itose Ann Sharp for their assistance in preparing for the banquet and to Mrs. Kelly Settle, Assistant Athletic Director, for, among many other things, hand-lettering the many beautiful certificates.
• Last week we were also in the midst of hosting the Boys’ Regional Soccer Tournament at RCHS and celebrating each incredible win. Friday in overtime against arch rival Madison County, we lost in over-time 15y one goal...a nail-biter to say the least! Our boys on the field demonstrated class and finesse under great stress and
