A rainy day didn’t keep the light from shining on the Rappahannock County Garden Club’s Flower Show last month held at the home of Bruce and Susan Jones. A steady stream of visitors eiyoyed viewing the numerous displays of flowers, touring the outside gardens, and learning about bluebirds and native plants, as well as chatting with friends and neighbors over refreshments.
Special acknowledgement should go to the event chairwomen, Betty Wood and Celine Siira, as well as to Horticulture and Design chairwomen Mary Priest and Carol Miller for their vision and careful planning.
Three “Top Awards” in Design were presented by the judges.
