William Jeffries
Carpenter, farmer
William Kennon Jeffries, 50, of Valdez, Alaska, formerly of Culpeper, died May 23 in Alaska.
He was bom Oct. 5, 1950 in Warrenton, a son of Kennon Jeffries Graves and the late Thomas M. Jeffries.
Mr. Jeffries was an accomplished carpenter, farmer and cattleman. He was very supportive of 4-H and the Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Farm Show.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his former wife, Robin M. Jeffries; three sons, Jestin Spett, Rainey Jeffries and Martin Jeffries; four sisters, Mary Durham, Jo Anne Russell, Barton Hithcock and Anne Graves Foster and a brother, Thomas M. Jeffries Jr.
Memorial services were conducted on Wednesday, May 30 at Clore-English Funeral Home by the Rev. John Story.
Schultz service
A memorial service for Mrs. Betty J. Schultz will be held at the Culpeper National Cemetery at 11 a.m. on June 15, 2001.
Mrs. Schultz was a resident of Rappahannock County.
