A new nonprofit organization has arrived on our scene. They have hired Bridget Chisholm, of Hume, Virginia as part-time executive director and are looking for office space.
The Rappahannock Nonprofit Center (RNPC) is a resource for other nonprofits and charities. The brainchild of a collection of notables among Rappahannock's volunteer community, it is the flowering of an idea germinated in thie fall of 2003. That is when Martin Woodard, Bill and Linda Dietel, Amy Silver and others began meeting to discuss what could be done to help coordinate and improve the efforts of our local volunteer community.
