and offset the costs of the Center. In addition to these funds, LFCC has committed funds to purchase furniture and state-of-the-art computer technology for the Center, including distance learning equipment that will enable students at the Page County Center to benefit from resources and classes available on LFCC’s two main campuses. Baughan and Baukhages, architects in Luray, developed the site building plans.
“We have met with educational leaders in the county and surveyed the community to develop a comprehensive program to respond to student interests,” said Gail Price, director of the Page County Center. “Through the classes to be offered at the Center, individuals can fulfill the majority of courses for many certificate and degree programs offered at LFCC, with the convenience of taking classes right here in Page County.”
Located at 320 North Hawksbill Street in Luray and close to downtown and Route 211, the new Page County Center is part of a 122,000t square-foot commerce and education facility.
