Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable
The Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable’s monthly dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Everyone, members and non-members are invited and welcome.
Mr. Chuck Mauro will speak on “The Civil War and Herndon.”
Chuck is the author and photographer of The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill), A Monumental Storm.” He received the Nan Netherton Heritage Award in 1999 for his historical research, writing, and photography of this study. He is a member of the Historical Society of Herndon, Historic Centreville Society, the Bull Run CWRT, and the Friends of Fort Ward.
He received a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University. He lives in Herndon, VA.
