With the help of local builder Tom Taylor, the result is an exquisite tasting room with the tasting bar designed by the Pross'.
“Stephanie and Derek visited vineyards all around to see what they did and did not like at tasting bars,” Bill explained, “and the main thing was not to have people standing in line waiting to taste.”
The bar extends most of the length of the tasting room, with tiled tables placed inside as well.
However, perhaps the best place to enjoy tasting is on the deck outside, overlooking several acres of vineyards, with the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains looming in the backdrop.
On July 9, Gadino Cellars will celebrate its grand opening with the tasting room open from Friday through Sunday, 12 noon - 6 p.m. thereafter.
