In the summer months, Wakefield Country Day School shifts its focus from academics to enrichment, offering, summer camp classes in a variety of subjects.
Class offerings include two sports camps: basketball, coached by WCDS students Patrick Dale and Ben Luke and soccer, coached by Gali Sanchez, WCDS’ varsity soccer coach and winner of this year’s Delaney Athletic Conference “Coach of the Year.”
Also offered are a number of classes taught by WCDS faculty: Arts, Crafts, and Cooking classes by Kathy McNitt, Science by Christine Chatelain, and Drama by Kristin Hauger. Beginning on July 11th, a three week Latin course will be offered by John McMahon. This $400 course is open to students in grades 9-12, and openings are still available.
