Dabney H. Eastham
Dabney Hughes Eastham, 51, of South Hill, Va. died Monday, May 30 in Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston.
Mr. Eastham was born May 6, 1954, in Front Royal, son of the late Dabney McGhee and Margaret Hughes Eastham. He was a graduate of the University of Montana. He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a soil scientist. He was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife .Evangeline Williams Eastham; two sons Evan Matthew Eastham and Franklin Dabney Eastham both of South Boston; and cousins.
Pallbearers were Lindsay. Eastham, Joe North, Bud Corder, Herbert Gillespie, Greg Hammer, and Robert Smith.
A funeral service was held Friday, June 3 at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Interment followed in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
