The Wakefield Owls beat the Fredericksburg Christian Academy Eagles last Friday, 5-2.
The Eagles scored the first goal just minutes into the game. Wakefield’s Katherine Russo played excellent defense for the Owls. On one play, Russo sped across the field and right up to the Eagle’s net but the Eagles goalie quickly took control of the ball.
