April 19: LEPC meeting
The Rappahannock County Local Emergency Planning Committee will (LEPC) will meet on Wednesday, April 19 at 10 a.m. in the courthouse. Interested residents are invited to attend. All are reminded that information on emergency planning, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and county Emergency Operations Plan is available at the Office of Emergency Management in the Magistrate’s Office next to the sheriff’s office. Main subjects will be progress on portable generr ator and plan to improve communication.
April 19: Garden Club
Annual Meeting
The Annual Business Meeting of the Rappahannock County Garden Club will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, at 12 noon at the Washington Fire Hall. This will be a potluck lunch, with horticulture displays of flowering branches, major and minor bulbs, and with design classes of underwater design, and a decorator’s choice design featuring a decorated hat.
