Hammelman is a busy girl. Not only does she excel at soccer, basketball and volleyball, she does it all while keeping up a grade point average of 3.76. Caitlin has received First Honors for her grades. She has been accepted into both U.VA And the University of Mary Washington, which her older sister Jordon attends. Hammelman has not yet decided what she will major in but her favorite class is Math, so it will probably be something related to math and science.
With no spare time in her busy schedule during the week, Hammelman has learned to balance practice and homework, a good skill for college. She has also been Secretary for four years of the Wakefield “Key Club”, which provides a way for students of Wakefield to help the community. Just a few weeks ago they held a garage
