years. Caitlin has won several awards for athletic achievements. For the last two years she has been voted most valuable player (MVP) of the soccer team for offense.
In the Delaney Athletic conference, Caitlin was chosen as an all conference player. Wakefield gives away three awards for the MVP for three different positions.
Last year Caitlin won what the coach calls “ The Golden Boot” for soccer. Her sister Jordon had previously won “The Golden Ball” for soccer. Both the coach and the school’s sports director said that with Hammelman’s skill she should at least play college sports. Hammelman says she plays sports for fun and doesn’t want the pressure of playing in college or in professional sports. She enjoys sports very much and has luckily never had any serious injuries or broken bones
