Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MADD, is one of the most widely supported and well liked non-profit organizations in America. It would take too much space to enumerate their many accomplishments in the 25 years that they have been in existence, but suffice it to say that they have grown to be one of the largest crime victims’ assistance organizations in the world with over 600 chapters and over 3 million members and supporters. Volunteers are truly the heart and soul of MADD—the driving force. They continue to need passionate people - whether you have been personally affected by drunk driving, underage drinking or are a concerned citizen.

MADD is proof that one person can make a difference because it grew from the grief and passion of a California mom, Candy Lightner, who had lost her daughter to a drunk driver.
