MADD offers national victim services, including a 24 hour hotline (1-877-MADDHELP), Victim Impact Panels, and court monitoring, designed to ensure that impaired driving laws are enforced and that offenders are punished appropriately and consistently. MADD also focuses on legislative efforts (advocacy), public awareness campaigns, and youth programs, such as Youth In Action, which we are fortunate to have in Warren County. MADD was instrumental in the passage of numerous national and local laws regarding underage drinking and drunk driving. Currently MADD is tracking about 40 bills related to drunk driving and underage drinking in Virginia.
