The book will have on emphasis on local people and the heritage of the county. Lynch and Tole are most anxious to have residents search through their attics or go to that old scrapbook and share their photos with them. “We just want pictures. We want people to have an opportunity to share their photographs with us,” said Lynch.
If you have any old photographs that you would like to share, bring them to the Rappahannock Historical Society located on 328 Gay Street in Washington, Virginia.
Judy Tble will be happy to scan your photo and give you back the original.
The historical society can be reached at (540) 6751163.
