1 1/2 cups basil leaves left on the stems (a generous handful, picked over, washed and well-dried)
1 3/4 cups olive oil (approximately)
Put basil into a pint canning jar. Add oil to cover basil and fill jar. Refrigerate 24 hours; longer is OK Keeps indefinitely in the refrigerator. Do not store at room temperature.
