What to expect
Flint Hill carnivals and parades seem to get better with each passing year. Last year’s event set a record in attendance and funds raised for the volunteer fire company. This year’s carnival has a lineup of dozens of fun games of chance, carnival rides, bingo, and just good country cooking that will please one and all.
Food is first on most folks minds at country carnivals and this year’s festivities will oblige them. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be on the menu for the opening night on Wednesday with Bruce Vierling serving his now-famous barbecue chicken dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. In addition, home made desserts prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary will tempt everyone at the food court.
