Fauquier County Civil

War Roundtable meeting

The Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable’s monthly dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, August 9, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Everyone, members and non-members are invited and welcome.

Mrs. Pat Lattin will speak on “Confederate Artists.*

Pat has a BA in art from Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida. She received her Masters in Education at the University of Florida in 1985. She has taught art and history, been a librarian in the public schools and a media specialist with Westinghouse in Coral Springs, FL. She retired from the Fairfax public schools in 2000 to devote herself to painting and gardening on the six acres in Culpeper that she shares with her husband, Chris. She is presently the President of the Madison chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

The evening starts with a social time at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by the program. Anyone can come just for the program if they wish. For reservations and directions call President Jim Flanagan at 540-439-3549 by Monday, August 7.
