Summer surprise
Ten-year old Allison Stuart of Washington, Virginia
was recently awarded first prize in a Disney
Channel sweepstakes.
“She found the entry form in one of her girl magazines and sent it in during the winter,” said her mother Sharon Starr. Stuart, who is preparing for 6th grade at Rappahannock Elementary, forgot all about the entry form until the UPS truck pulled up. According to her mother, there was no prior phone calls or letters that notified her of the prize.
“It was like Christmas in July," Starr said. Included in the prize package was a collection of “My Scene Goes Hollywood” dolls and accessories, including a toy dressing room and a party limo. Since then she has been playing with her new toys with her friend Skyler Owens.
