In the mid 30s the government bought the land which is now Skyline Drive. So some of the people that lived there, had to be moved to Resettlement Road in Flint Hill. This road got its name because the government had built new houses on it, one of these houses was designated as a community building and was used as both a school house and a church for the people that had to be moved from the park.
