Regular, Full-Time, Full-Benefits Loc: Leesburg Hrs/wk: 37.5 Position available with the Department of PRCS at the Douglass Community Center. Duties include assisting Manager in the daily operations of the Community Center. Works independently to develop and coordinate a variety of programs including classes, activities, trips and special events for all audiences (pre-school age to seniors). Successful candidate must possess strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Weekly schedule varies and includes weekday, evening, and weekend hours. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and four years related work experience. Virginia State Licensing requires six months experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities. Prefer recreational programming experience. Must have certification in First Aid, CPR for adult, infant and child, and I B test prior to beginning work. Successful candidate will undergo a criminal background. CPS, and DMV check.
