I hope I can bring a bit of humor to this column, but it will be a challenge. You see, when I turned 50 and complained about this or that hurting, my older friends said, buddy, don’t be complaining too much, because, “if it don’t hurt, it probably don’t work anymore.”
Well, a couple of years ago I passed the next big birthday with a zero at the end of it, and, oh, how I long for those halcyon days of my fifties.
