Class of 1986 Reunion

The RCHS class of 1986 reunion committee cordially invites all classmates to our 20th year reunion. The event will be held on Saturday September 9, at the Blue Rock Inn in Washington, VA. The festivities commence on the deck at 5 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served at 5:30 followed by a spectacular dinner at 7 p.m. Dancing will be encouraged after dinner for those with enough energy. Everyone should be prepared for tunes from the 80’s. Please come early and stay late. All are encouraged to bring pictures of their children. Rappahannock Rough Ride

“Fear Not the Hills - Ride Hard & Ride On”

A charity bicycle ride for the benefit of the Rappahannock and Fauquier Free Clinics. Starts at 10 a.m. rain or shine from Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Virginia. There are three courses designed to suit your cycling challenge whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider. The first 300 registered riders will receive the Rappahannock RoughRide T-shirt. It’s a day of crafters, artisans, history collecting, music and the Annual Jousting Competition. Vendors are needed for this annual event held at Leeds Ruritan Park in Hume. The Hume Day committee is seeking crafters, artisans, and all those interested in the opportunity to exhibit their work to the community. If you would like to be considered for this event, please send an email describing your specialty to humeday® yahoo, com If applicable, include a digital photo showing an example of your work. The committee will review all applications prior to selecting vendors and exhibitors. The deadline for submission is August 15, 2006.
