Last year’s roster of “dunkees” included, among others, Rappahannock County High School Principal Roger Mello, Griffin Tavern owner Debbie Donehey, and Wakefield School teacher Gali Sanchez. Another well-known county celebrity is expected this year, so come and see who he/she is!
Small children will have the most fun as they take rides on beautiful, Shetland ponies provided by the Hamil-Huffs. Pony rides will be available each night except Friday when there is the parade. As in past years, there also will be a number of exciting carnival rides for children and young people as well as bingo games for the adults. A hay ride and a chance to observe large draft horses will also be part of the festivities.
