The group coming to Rappahannock will be under the general supervision of Joe Tbnkin of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region III facility located in Olney, Md. Currently the team is working in Culpeper and Orange comities after finishing Fredricksburg according to James Surratt from the state emergency services office. Also on the agenda is Warren, but Surratt said the group didn’t anticipate finishing that county before the end of the summer because of the multiplicity of structures there. “The problem’s not acute in Rappahannock. There doesn’t seem to be that much in the way of facilities to survey,” Surrat said.
