of them is back. We are a little concerned. We haven’t seen the both of them, and the other day there were two piles of feathers near the base of the nest tree, where something met an untimely demise.
I am not smart enough to tell you if the feathers were the leftovers from a meal an owl had, or if it was leftover owl. We have seen one stray, gray cat hanging around. Maybe a coyote will take care of that problem. In any event, we hope momma and poppa screech are still a team.
