Will Bolte replaced Utne as goalie, shutting out Madison in the second half. Utne scored the first goal of the second half for the Panthers, as they led 3-0.
The Mountaineers made some key errors in the second half as a Madison player hit Arne Utne as he was positioned to score.
Madison’s goalie got into an argument with the ref and was given a yellow card and taken off of the field.
Jordan Torrence scored with the penalty kick, his first goal of the season. With seven minutes left in the second half David Clement scored the fifth goal, assisted by Ben Pendleton.
The 5-0 win against the Mountaineers finished out the best season in four years for the Phnthers as they prepare for-the semi-final rounds.
