.uunng the meeting, Herb White of WW Associates told the council that the geotechnical report on the proposed site for the wastewater facility came in favorable. He called the report “typical,” and said there does not seem to be a lot of rock under the site.
White reminded the council that 5 to 10 percent of the budget for the wastewater project is for unforeseen costs that arise during the project.
Council Member Claudia Mitchell asked White about the possibility of upgrading the town’s Water pipes at the same time crews have roads torn up to install the wastewater collection system.
“Most of the system we have is old,” Mitchell said. “I really think we need to be proactive about it ”
