A couple oi weeks ago 1 was all excited about by new peas poking their head through the ground. Then, they stopped. That first 10 or 12 is all that ever came up. I have that problem with peas; I must not be turning their little faces upward in the row.
Anyway, I took the old rototiller and plowed them suckers right back into the ground. I planted some Alaska peas; sowed’em real thick. Now, I may have to thin my peas. Every one of those peas came up. And, if we could just get a little rain, I might be able to keep my promise to the editor.
